I understand that we shouldn’t necessarily think or believe that we should be able to do anything alone. Or try to do everything alone as an individual.
It is almost always better to have somebody to help with getting ahead in life. (Taken that somebody or somebodies are actually being beneficial and not a tax.)
The issue I see, though, is there are a two different ways people see as doing things together. Working together to achieve some goal and working as a mob to achieve some benefit.
The difference is that people working together towards a goal generally improve their situations without degrading someone else’s situation and working as a mob may improve their situation but it results in the degradation of the situation of other people.
I believe you see mob type groups in the social justice movement groups as well as in worker unions. Generally they seem to discourage individuality and individual initiative.
